Listen to Warren Haynes Cover U2, Leonard Cohen, Allman Brothers and More at the Peach – 7/4/2021 AUD

A staple at the Peach (and formerly Mountain Jam) has been a wake up with Warren set towards the end of the festival. Warren, donning his electric and acoustic guitars, reprised his Wake Up With Warren set at this year’s Peach Festival.

Uncle Warren treated the Peach to a great setlist including covers of U2’s “One,” Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah,” and Allman Brothers Band’s “Ain’t Waistin’ Time No More” among others. To top off the beautiful set, Warren invited The Blind Boys of Alabama to the stage to join in Warren’s classic “Soulshine.”

Watch Dopapod Cover Billie Eilish’s “Bad Guy” at Peach Festival

Dopapod returned to Peach Festival this past weekend. The Boston-based jam band held down the Mushroom Stage before the Allman Betts Band did the headlining set at the stage on Saturday night.

While their entire set is definitely worth the listen, their cover of Billie Eilish’s runaway pop hit “Bad Guy” is a lot of fun. Dopa turned the Grammy winning tune into a 10 minute raging jam.

Watch Warren Haynes Join String Cheese Incident for “U.S. Blues” at Peach Festival

Plenty of memorable moments highlighted the Peach Festivals triumphant return this year. On Sunday, July 4th The String Cheese Incident played two sets to finish out the festival and ended the festival with a little more magic.

Warren Haynes, who had played directly before SCI on the Peach Stage, later joined SCI for a cover of the Grateful Dead’s “U.S. Blues”—a fitting collaboration for the 4th of July.

Watch Trey Anastasio Join Celisse Henderson for Guitar Duel on “Undercover” at Peach Music Festival

While Oysterhead was the big headliner at the Peach Festival this past Saturday evening, Trey had already got the party started earlier in the day over on the Grove Stage.

Celisse Henderson, best known to Phish fans as the singer in Trey’s Ghosts of the Forest project, filled the 4:45 slot over on the Grove stage. Challenging stereotypes, Celisse not only can sing, but she has serious guitar chops. Towards the end of her set, Celisse welcomed Trey Anastasio to the stage. After some feel good banter, the two guitarists got into an epic guitar duel that lasted the better part of 12 minutes. This is the kind of moment summer festivals are all about.
