The Grateful Dead are back with another installment of All the Years Live on YouTube. The latest stop on the bus is the Dead’s legendary 4th of July show in 1989 at Orchard Park, NY.
To put the finishing touch on an incredible show, Jerry lead the show on the “U.S. Blues” encore—a fitting end to an Independence Day show. Grateful Dead archivist, David Lemieux notes “There were a few expected songs played during the Dead’s touring career, and two that you could count on were Werewolves Of London on Halloween, and U.S. Blues on the 4th of July, as they did here in Buffalo.”
Thanks to the Grateful Dead for the footage!
