Phish aired their weekly Dinner and a Movie series last night to much phan phare—the show was none other than their historic Jam Filled night at their 2017 Baker’s Dozen run.
In what seems like a lifetime ago, Phish took up residency at Madison Square Garden in the summer of 2017 for thirteen nights. The run, dubbed Baker’s Dozen featured thirteen donut-themed shows without a single repeat.
The show was filled with epic jams, but none grander than the “Lawn Boy” during the first set. As many have commented, July 25th, 2017 is the day that “Lawn Boy” became “Lawn Man.” The version clocked in at a mind-bending 29:59.
SET 1: Sample in a Jar, Lawn Boy[1] > My Friend, My Friend[2] > Stash, Bathtub Gin
SET 2: Fuego > Thread > Crosseyed and Painless > Makisupa Policeman -> End of Session[3] > Tuesday > Cavern
ENCORE: Julius > Lawn Boy[1] Page on keytar.
[2] No “Myfe” ending.
[3] Debut.
Thanks to Phish for the stream!
