Warren Haynes with Danny Louis returned to Morris, CT for another show in their run at South Farms last week. As he has before, Uncle Warren delivered two stellar sets of originals and choice covers.
In the first set, Warren and Danny treated the farm to a beautiful version of Jimi Hendrix’s “Little Wing” which segued into the Mule’s “Wine and Blood” before heading into Elton John’s “Madman Across the Water.”
In the second set, Warren sunk his teeth into the Grateful Dead’s “Loser.”
To cap off the night, Warren and Danny flexed their vocal abilities with Son House’s “Grinnin’ in Your Face.”
