Marcus King is officially off the bench and has embarked on one of the most ambitious tours since the COVID shutdown back on March. King has teamed up with Stephen Campbell on bass and Jack Ryan on drums to bring the Marcus King Trio on the road in the Northeast this September for a string of drive in gigs.
For the second night of their eight-night Live at the Drive In tour, the trio landed in the Cheshire Fair in Swanzey, NH. Fronted by one of the best guitarists in the business, the Marcus King Trio tore through 15 originals and covers during the tour stop. King treated New Hampshire to covers of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Willie Dixon and he Marshall Tucker Band. Check out the footage of the trio playing Marshall Tucker Band’s “Take the Highway” courtesy of LessThanFace Productions.
