Eric Clapton made his triumphant return to Madison Square Garden last night. The blues rock legend did a 15 song set that spanned his incredible career. From his early days with Cream to his later solo work and everything in-between was covered.
In addition to originals, Eric did plenty of classic blues standards from Willie Dixon, Robert Johnson and more. For the encore, Eric was joined by fellow blues journeymen Jimmie Vaughn and blues prodigy Gary Clark Jr.
Last nights show marks slowhand’s first show in nearly a year.
