Watch Trey Anastasio Trio’s “No Men in No Man’s Land > Ghost > Camel Walk” at Central Park

One of Jam Buzz’s favorite YouTubers LazyLightning has come out of hibernation this evening with some archival footage. Back in the summer of 2018, Trey mixed things up and toured in a trio format that included Russ Lawton and Tony Markellis. For their Central Park stop on July 6th, keyboardist Ray Paczkowski joined the trio to make a quartet.

To kick off the second set, the Trio came out strong with a string of three Phish covers including “No Men in No Man’s Land,” “Ghost,” and “Camel Walk.”

Thanks again to Lazy Lightning for the great footage!

Watch Phish’s Show from the Polaris Amphitheater in Columbus, Ohio in ’99 – 7/23/1999 Video

Phish is back with another installment of Dinner and a Movie tonight. The weekly feature has turned into more of a rarity as of late. Tonight’s feature is from summer tour 1999.

The P-fish were riding high during the summer of ’99. This show in C-bus features some killer jams (check out that set two “Ghost” opener) and were having a good time. During “Meatstick,” Trey shares the band vision to break a world record by everyone doing the Meatstick dance. He also shares that they will be playing NYE in Florida. While the announcement is a footnote, it’s cool to think that this was the first time fans found out about one of the most legendary shows in Phishtory.

SET 1: Ya Mar, NICU, Back at the Chicken Shack > Punch You in the Eye[1], Fast Enough for You, Back on the Train, David Bowie, Strange Design, Possum

SET 2: Ghost -> Free > Birds of a Feather > Meatstick > Fire

ENCORE: Bouncing Around the Room > Rocky Top

Thanks to Phish for sharing the groove!
