Listen to Dead and Company’s Full Hartford Show – 6/28/2016 Soundboard Quality

Dead and Company’s latest stop on their summer tour was Hartford, CT at the Xfinity Theater. This show was as much a homecoming for John Mayer as any town Dead and Company has played yet.

Since starting this tour back in May, John, Bobby and the boys have played over 100 different songs. You never know what you’re gonna get at a Dead and Company show!

The second sets this tour have been especially smokin’, and this show is no exception.

Here is the setlist thanks to Reddit:

Set 1:
Hell in a Bucket
Cold Rain and Snow
Queen Jane Approximately
Big River
Row Jimmy
Mississippi Halfstep Uptown Toodleloo > Cumberland Blues

Set 2:

Black Peter > U.S. Blues

Encore:

Listen to Dead and Company’s Full Camden Show – 6/20/2016 Soundboard Quality

After four shows into their tour, Dead and Company hasn’t replayed a single song. Amazing.

While they weren’t able to keep the streak alive at Camden, they put on a hell of show and played “All Along the Watchtower” for the first time. Under a strawberry moon, the boys played a magical night of Dead music that was topped off with a Ripple encore.

Here is the setlist thanks to Reddit:

Set 1:
Bertha
Shakedown Street > West L.A. Fadeaway
Row Jimmy
Crazy Fingers > I Need a Miracle > Big Railroad Blues

Set 2:
Playin’ in the Band > The Wheel > Eyes of the World > Standing on the Moon > Let it Grow > Drums > Space > All Along the Watchtower > Morning Dew > Not Fade Away

Encore:
Ripple

Listen to Phil Lesh, Melvin Seals, Warren Haynes and Friends’ Final Show of their May 2016 Capitol Theater Run – 5/29/2016

While the show from Saturday night got some mixed reviews, the consensus of Sunday’s night show is that it was a barn-burner. Melvin and the rest of Phil’s friends brought their A-game for the the final show of their May 2016 Capitol Theater run.

Set setlist includes a lot of Dead tunes of course, but also some more Warren Haynes picks like “Dear Mr. Fantasy” and “A Whiter Shade of Pale.”

Sunday nights’ Phil and Friends lineup included Phil Lesh, Melvin Seals, Tony Leone, Alex Koford, Eric Krasno and Warren Haynes.

Here is the setlist from Sunday night:

Set 1:
Midnight Hour >
Pride of Cucamonga
Reuben and Cerise >
Dear Mr. Fantasy
After Midnight
Cold Rain and Snow

Set 2:
Jam>
The Wheel>
Just a Little Light>
Jam…>
Help On The Way>
Slipknot!>
Gotta Serve Somebody>
Jam>
Eyes of The World>
Whiter Shade of Pale
Fire On The Mountain

Encore:
Not Fade Away

All in all, a great run for Phil and Friends at the Capitol!

Listen to Phil Lesh, Chris Robinson, John Scofield & Friends’ Full Show from 5/22/2016

If you enjoyed the Phil and Friends’ “New Minglewood Blues” that I shared yesterday, you’ll definitely want to check this show out.

After performing in the backyard, Phil and Friends brought the show inside the next room to the Grate Room at Terrapin Crossroads. The lineup included all the same characters from the day with the addition of Ross James: Phil Lesh, John Scofield, Chris Robinson, Ross James, Jason Crosby and Tony Leone.

This particular Phil and Friends is especially potent. Scofield absolutely sets the tone with his fierce guitar playing and Robinson’s vocals are unreal. James Ross more traditional sound on guitar is a great compliment to Scofield’s sound. Listen to the sextet rip through 16 tunes including Ray Charles and Bob Dylan covers and a bunch of classic Dead tunes—over 3 hours in total!

Set 1:
US Blues
Deal
Ramble On Rose
West L.A. Fade Away
I Don’t Need No Doctor (Ray Charles)
They Love Each Other
Samson and Delilah

Set 2:
A Hard Rain’s A Gonna Fall (Bob Dylan)
Viola Lee Blues
The Wheel
Unbroken Chain
Cassidy
Stella Blue
Eyes Of The World
I Know You Rider

Encore:
We Love You Cody
Donor Rap
It’s All Over Now, Baby Blue (Bob Dylan)
Band Intro
