2020 was set to be a big year for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The nearly 40 year old band was set to reinvent itself yet again with a brand new album and their old guitarist John Frusciante back in the band.

Back in 2017, RHCP’s spring tour stopped in Seattle at the KeyArena. YouTuber RHCP Live has compiled a multi-cam production of their opener and boy what an opener it was. Flea, Klinghoffer and Smith appeared on stage first with an absolutely face-melting intro. After the high-octane intro, Kiedis bounced his way on stage and the band launched into one of the hits off Californication “Around the World.” What a way to start a show!

Thanks again to RHCP Live for the multi-cam footage!
