Baltimore based funk jam band Pigeons Playing Ping Pong finished up their fall tour last week in Texas. PPPP played at Emo’s in Austin for the penultimate tour date.

In the second set, PPPP played their original “Burning Up My Time” and teased a few songs in the final seconds including “Slipknot,” “Moby Dick” and “Heartbreaker” before busting into Led Zeppelin’s “Kashmir.”

PPPP worked in their signature funk sound into the normally apocalyptic tune. While no one touches Robert Plant’s soaring vocals, Greg Ormont does the song justice.
