As a belated holiday gift, Pink Floyd founding member David Gilmour released a tune from his Live at Gdansk album on his YouTube channel.

David Gilmour’s historic On an Island Tour back in 2006 ended at the Gdansk Shipyard on August 26th. The final show of the tour was later released. Sadly it was the last Pink Floyd recorded material to feature Richard Wright who passed a week before the albums official release in 2008.

One of the highlights of any Floyd show, including this one in Gdansk is “Shine on You Crazy Diamond.” Thanks to David Gilmour for the wonderful recording!
