Grand Funk Railroad was one of the original power-trios from the 60s and 70s. The amount of sound coming from GFR at times in mind-boggling. This performance is taped from “The Show” WITF-TV in Hershey, Pa. November 1969.

Mark Farner & Don Brewer on drums were 20 & Mel Schacher on bass was only 18 years old at the time of this performance.

It’s a treat to see such an iconic rock band in the the first year of their existence, on stage kicking so much ass.
