The unlikely trio of Sammy Hagar, Bob Weir and Michael Franti teamed up for a free acoustic set for an intimate group of 250 fans at the Phoenix Hotel in San Francisco. The set was in support of solar energy and an upcoming vote. At the end of the set, Bobby, Sammy and Michael lead the audience on a parade to the steps of the California Public Utilities Comission while singing the Beatles’ classic here comes the sun.
