Earlier this year, the Foo Fighters and rock fans around the world tragically lost Taylor Hawkins. The band’s sudden loss of their drummer put their summer tour on hiatus. Dave Grohl and the remaining members of the band have regrouped for a pair of tribute concerts to Taylor with a rotating cast of musicians on the drum kit.
The first of these two tribute concerts was last night at Wembly Stadium in the UK. When it was time for Foo Fighters’ to perform “My Hero,” Dave Grohl welcomed Taylor Hawkins son Shane to take the place behind the drums and the young drummer nailed it.
Thanks to MTV for the footage!
