Dave Matthews played a couple of rare concerts ahead of their massive tour later this spring in Texas. The first was a 3+ hour show in Sugar Land and the next night was an equally massive and almost entirely different show in Grand Prairie.
One of the many treats that Dave and Tim had in store for Grand Prairie, was “Rapunzel”—the first time the duo had played the song in 18 years! The fan favorite track off of the Dave Matthews Band album Before These Crowded Streets is much more common at DMB shows, but the ultimate rarity at a Dave and Tim show (this is only the fourth time they have performed the song in concert.)
