Dickey Betts, founding member of the Allman Brothers Band has returned to the stage for the first time in three years. Dickey previously announced his return to touring with a gig in Macon, GA but then later announced a rehearsal gig in his hometown of Sarasota, FL.

The Dickey Betts Band played at The White Buffalo Saloon earlier this week and Betts played his songs and for the first-time ever, Betts solo band performances of Gregg Allman songs.

Among the many classics Betts and his band shared, “Blue Sky” stands out as perhaps his signature Allman Brothers Band tune. Betts showed a bit of rust, but at 74 years old, still has formidable guitar chops.
