Vermont jam band natives, Twiddle set out on their fall tour, starting with the west coast earlier in October. Last night the band hit The Roxy in West Hollywood, CA.
At the end of the first set, Twiddle welcomed a very surprising guest to the stage—Frank Zappa’s vocalist and guitarist, Ike Willis. Ike jammed with Twiddle on the Zappa classic “Muffin Man” before sharing his story. Ike, who is just 65 years young, was dying from prostate cancer this time last year. Now on the mend, Willis emerged on the stage for the first time in over a year to play with Twiddle. Hell yea!
Thanks to Twiddle for the footage!
