Neil Young continues to release new tunes from his latest effort with Crazy Horse—Barn.
The newest track released on his YouTube channel, entitled “They Might Be Lost” has that timeless Young sound.
Thanks to Neil Young for the track!
Listen to Trey Anastasio and Page McConnell’s Surprise December Album
Trey Anastasio has truly made the most of a truly miserable year for live music. As one final gift (or maybe we’ll get a NYE surprise) Trey has dropped a new album on the Phish YouTube channel.
Following up their sessions at the Barn, Trey and Page McConnell have teamed up for a full album of tunes from the Barn entitled December.

Watch Trey Anastasio and Page McConnell’s Delicate “Brian and Robert” at the Barn
Switching gears from Trey’s 8 night residency at the Beacon Theater and the ensuing slew of footage, Phish’s YouTube channel has returned with another gem from Trey and Page’s collaboration at the Barn from the summer.
The latest footage from the Barn is one of the least Phish songs in their catalogue—”Brian and Robert.” The slow, mellow number fits perfectly into the Page and Trey duo format.
Thanks to Phish for the footage!
Watch Trey Anastasio and Page McConnell Perform “Waste” at the Barn in Vermont
Last week, Phish members Trey Anastasio and Page McConnell shared some footage of them performing “Evening Song” from the famous Barn in Vermont. The surprise footage was beautiful and begged the question—was there more?
Last night, Trey released the second track from their session at the Barn—”Waste.” The beautiful interplay of Trey on the acoustic guitar and Page on the keys produces a near-perfect version of Billy Breathes track. Before launching into “Waste,” Trey asks Page “We haven’t done Waste yet?!” in disbelief which surely means that there are plenty more tracks from the session to come.
Thanks to Phish for the footage!
Watch Trey Anastasio and Page McConnell’s Stripped Down “Evening Song” from the Barn
In addition to all the Trey Anastasio has brought to us in 2020 (a new Phish album, Dinner and a Movie streams, new quarantine songs, Lonely Trip album, and the Beacon Jams residency for those keeping score) he released a track with fellow Phish keyboardist Page McConnell at their famed barn in Vermont. While it was released just a couple of days ago, the lush green landscape suggests a summer recording.
After recreating the Colorado ’88 album cover on the balcony with the keyboards, Trey and Page got down to business and performed a beautiful rendition of “Evening Song” from Sigma Oasis which was released earlier this spring.
Thanks to Trey Anastasio for the footage! Here’s hoping to more Trey and Page duo tunes!
