Watch String Cheese Incident’s Wild 90’s Rock & Hip Hop Cover Set at Hulaween
The annual Suwannee Hulaween took over Live Oak, FL this past weekend. The festival boasted acts like Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Billy Strings, Bluesky Greengrass and three nights of String Cheese Incident.
On Saturday night, SCI treated Live Oak to it’s annual Halloween costume set that was straight from the 90s. After kicking off the set with some 90s rock classics like Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and Red Hot Chili Pepper’s “Give It Away,” SCI took Hulaween on a 90s hip hop voyage. The 30 minute jam included “No Diggity (Blackstreet cover) > California Love (Tupac Shakur cover) > This Is How We Do It (Montell Jordan cover) > Gettin Jiggy Wit It (Will Smith cover) > Can’t Touch This (M.C. Hammer cover) > Groove Is In The Heart (Deee-Lite cover).” Wow.
