The USC Marching Band, one of the best collegiate marching bands in the US, had the opportunity of a lifetime back in 2009. The marching band was tapped by Radiohead to play backing percussion and horns at the Grammys for their song 15 Step off the In Rainbows album.

The performance stole the show and USC has since added the song to their game-day repertoire. Thom Yorke’s vocals and Jonny Greenwood’s guitar create a potent sound when mixed with the marching band.

USC produced a behind the scenes video that reveals 8 minutes of rehearsals and the backstage atmosphere at the event that is definitely worth a watch.
