When Phish is in the zone, Tweezer is one of the journeys they like to take the audience on. There have been many historic Tweezer jams, most notably the Tahoe Tweezer from a few summers ago.

The Mud Island Tweezer is one of those mythical jams that has been listened to a million times and is required listening for all Phish fans. And now it is required viewing. Well, actually the footage is pretty rough, but it is to the best of my knowledge it’s the only video we have. At about the 8-minute mark, it becomes painfully obvious how far audience footage has come when the video is interrupted by a Cell Phone Store ad that was previously on the VHS tape before the Phish jam was.

Mud Island Tweezer takes the cake as the longest Tweezer in Phishtory clocking in at 50+ minutes. The jam includes a Gypsy Queen Jam, a 2001 tease (which was played earlier in the set), a Slave-like jam, and a Digital Delay Loop Jam with whistling.

The uploader has assured us that a version with better audio is forthcoming. When it does, it will be updated here as well.
