Oteil and his cast of friends ventured westward to Tempe, AZ in the latter half of October. Oteil’s line-up included Melvin Seals, Steve Kimock, Duane Betts, Lamar Williams Jr., and Johnny Kimock.

Duane Betts and Allman Brothers Band—linked together through their connection to the Allman Brothers Band, had the chance to go the distance on the ABB tune “Dreams.” Right when Duane was getting started, his amp failed and was switched out mid-song. Oteil and the band played on until Duane was able to rejoin and take the reigns.
