While JRAD and John Mayer were rocking the West Coast and Uncle Warren Haynes was jamming with Bob Weir and Wolf Bros on the East Coast, Voodoo Dead was pumping out Dead tunes in Denver.

Voodoo Dead, a Dead family supergroup has one hell of a line-up including Oteil Burbridge on bass guitar and vocals, Jeff Chimenti on keyboards and vocals, Jackie Greene on guitar, organ and vocals, John Kimock on drums, and Steve Kimock on guitar. Wow.

The second night of their two night run at the Gothic Theatre in Denver featured an awesome setlist. The whole show is worth the listen, but especially check out that 18 minute “Shakedown Street” jam to start the second set.
