Les Claypool and Primus planned an ambitious tribute tour to Rush. Rush bassist, Geddy Lee is one of Claypool’s idols and a huge influence. As with all other plans last year, the tour was postponed due to the pandemic.

Claypool and Primus’s vision was fulfilled this summer when the A Tribute to Kings tour officially kicked off in Boise, ID. Primus paid tribute to Geddy and Rush by performing their 1977 album A Farewell to Kings in it’s entirety. While Rush is possibly one of the most difficult bands to cover, Primus is more than up to the task.
