Watch Billy Strings Sit in with The Travelin’ McCourys for “Midnight Moonlight” in Nashville

The legendary bluegrass outfit, The Travelin’ McCourys played at the Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville earlier this month.

Towards the end of their set, Billy Strings joined the band to play out the rest of the evening. The first song Billy sat in on was Jerry Garcia Band’s “Midnight Moonlight.”

Watch Marcus King Join End of the Line Allman Brothers Band Tribute in Nashville

End of the Line, a new Allman Brothers Band tribute act made their debut performance last Thursday evening at the Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville, TN. The band includes keyboardist/vocalist Justin Smith, guitarists Conor Kelly and Adam Gorman, bassist Casey Conway, percussionist Ryan McClanahan and drummer Chase Bader.

A sneak peek at the show courtesy of Relix revealed that End of the Line was joined by a pair of special guests including Marcus King and former Gregg Allman keyboardist Peter Levin. The songs included in the 25 minute preview include “Whipping Post,” “Please Call Home,” “No One to Run With,” and “Not Fade Away.”

Watch Billy Strings’ Cover Post Malone’s “Circles” at Brooklyn Bowl Nashville

While Jam Buzz has been taking a long strange trip through historic Grateful Dead shows via the We Will Get By Streaming Tour, there has been some live music this summer.

One of the most notable tours came from Billy Strings. Billy played to an empty Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville, but thousands of fans tunes in online. One of the songs he covered with Sierra Hull on the mandolin was “Circles” by Post Malone. The rapper’s song broke a Billboard record this year spending over 34 weeks in the number one spot.
