Founding member of the Byrds and Crosby, Stills and Nash, David Crosby has passed away at the age of 81. Crosby, who defined a generation and era of rock, was a larger than life icon.
Crosby was a somewhat frequent collaborator with the Grateful Dead and played under the moniker David and the Dorks. One such jam session took place at The Matrix in December of 1970 in San Francisco. The combination of Jerry on guitar and Crosby on guitar was sublime.
