The Grateful Dead are back with another installment of All the Years Live on YouTube. The latest stop on the long strange trip brings us to Tinley Park, IL in summer of 1990.

The Dead kicked off the first set of their show at the World Music Theater on 7/21/1990 with “Touch of Grey > The Greatest Story Ever Told.” Here is what Grateful Dead archivist David Lemieux notes about the performance, “From the opening night of the final run of shows featuring Brent Mydland, this combination became more common as an opener after 1987. Prior to this, Greatest Story was often preceded by Bertha or Alabama Getaway. Touch Of Grey, which debuted in September 1982, had become the Dead’s first Top 10 hit single in 1987, and was still thrilling to hear live in concert in 1990.”

Thanks to the Grateful Dead for the footage!
