Live for Live Music has mobilized and transformed their Brooklyn Comes Live festival for a second time in the last month for the worthiest of causes of our time. Quarantine Comes Alive featured a day of music and fundraising with proceeds going to support those in need due to the COVID pandemic. Just a couple of days ago, Live for Live Music hosted a full-day event titled Justice Comes Alive. The one-day virtual festival raised awareness and funds for Plus1 For Black Lives Fund and aimed to harness the power of music to bring about collective change in response to racial inequality.
Eric Krasno, who was featured in Quarantine Comes Alive, performed the guitar, percussion and vocals on Ben E. King’s timeless “Stand By Me.”
Thanks to Live for Live Music for giving musicians a voice during these trying times and for using it’s clout to benefit such a needed cause. For more information on Justice Comes Alive and Plus1 for Black Lives Fund, visit here.
