The Allman Betts Band put together a string of dates before heading out on Friday for the Spirit of the South Tour with Blackberry Smoke. Last Friday, ABB kicked off a small festival on the outskirts of Chicago called Ridge Fest.

Allman and Betts covered the Dead’s “Shakedown Street,” Allman Brothers Band’s “Blue Sky,” “Dreams” and “Midnight Rider” and performed plenty of originals during their set.
