Billy Strings’ tour made it’s way to Nashville to the Bridgestone Arena this past weekend.
During the first set, Billy and his band were joined by an incredibly special guest—Derek Trucks. Before ripping into a cover of Widespread Panic’s “Pickin’ Up the Pieces,” Billy shared that he just met Derek earlier that day for the first time and likened their performance to two dogs sniffing each other’s ass. Derek and Billy segued out of the WSMFP cover into Billy’s
“Love and Regret” before Derek left the stage.
Thanks to Mon Cul for the stream!
