Phish returned last night with their Dinner and a Movie installment. Listening to the numerous calls from Phish fans, the P-fish delivered a 1.0 gem from summer tour 1997.

The vintage pick from Phish’s Virginia Beach stop included an epic first-set “Bathtub Gin” and a rare special guest in the second set. Founding member of the Dave Matthews Band, LeRoi Moore joined for the jam out of “Theme from the Bottom” and stuck around for “Funky Bitch.” Things got out of control during the jam. LeRoi managed to play two saxes at the same time and the rest of the band got jealous. Soon Trey donned not one but two extra guitars, Mike played two basses and the Cracklin’ Rosie cymbals, Fish had four drumsticks and Page was lying across his keyboards playing as many as possible.

SET 1: Ghost > Dogs Stole Things > Piper, Dirt, Ginseng Sullivan > Bathtub Gin > Character Zero

SET 2: Wolfman’s Brother -> Magilla > David Bowie, Wading in the Velvet Sea, Theme From the Bottom -> Jam > Funky Bitch, Slave to the Traffic Light

ENCORE: Loving Cup

Thanks to Phish from the vintage stream! Here’s to hoping for more 1.0 releases in the future!
