Gov’t Mule stopped in Memphis last week with the support of Soulive. Eric Krasno came out for a few songs at the tour stop including a rockin’ version of Bob Marley’s “Lively Up Yourself,” Billy Cobham’s “Stratus” and Tom Waits’ “Goin’ Out West.” On the “Goin’ Out West” encore, Danny Mayer, Stu Mahan, Deshawn “D’ Vibes” Alexander & Eric Kalb also sat in.
In addition to the covers with Krasno, Mule covered or teased plenty of other classic tunes like “Smoke Stack Lightning,” “D’yer Mak’er” and “Mississippi Queen.”
