Update: Thanks to mike246 for the recording!
Tedeschi Trucks Band finished out their annual residency at the Beacon Theater in NYC last night. For night six, Derek was reunited with his Allman Brother, Warren Haynes.
During TTB’s Beacon run in 2016, Warren made an appearance for nearly 40 minutes. Last night was more of the same with Uncle Warren jamming on the last three tunes of the set and then coming out for a face-melting “In Memory of Elizabeth Reed” that brought the Beacon back to the glory days of the Allman Brothers Band’s countless shows at the Beacon.
In addition to the 17+ minute “Liz Reed,” Haynes joined TTB for ” I Want More,” “With a Little Help From My Friends,” “Preacher’s Blues,” and “Done Somebody Wrong.” Sean Roche nabbed the setlist after the show and it seems as if the sit-in was longer than anticipated.
