The Grateful Dead have returned to YouTube with another installment of All the Years Live. The latest footage comes from Soldier Field summer tour ’91.
Late into the first set, the Dead played a blazin’ “Brown-Eyed Women.” Here is what Grateful Dead archivist David Lemieux notes about the performance, “Since its debut in 1971, Brown-Eyed Women was one of the Dead’s most-played first set songs, played almost 350 times. This version is from the terrific 6/22/91 show in Chicago, featuring the short-lived two keyboardist arrangement with Vince and Bruce.”
Thanks to the Grateful Dead for the footage.
