The first annual LOVE ROCKS NYC benefit concert was a huge success by all accounts. The sold out show raised tens of thousands of dollars for God’s Love We Deliver!, a non-profit in NYC that cooks and home-delivers more than 1.6 million meals annually to people living with sever illnesses.

To close out the evening, Bill Murray came up to wrap up the evening and introduce the architects of the evening—John Varvatos and Greg Williamson. After a couple of speeches, nearly every artists represented at the event came out to sing the timeless Beatles classic “With A Little Help From My Friends.”

While there were dozens of artists on stage, Susan Tedeschi and Joan Osborne really led vocals and sang their hearts out. I usually don’t go for these kind of all-star ensembles, but Susan and Joan on lead vocals together was too good to pass up.
