Mid-western funk all-stars Vulfpeck had a coming out party of sorts at LOCKN’. While a lot of people have seen them either on the road, at Bonnaroo or on T.V, this was arguably their biggest show of the summer.

While there are four members of Vulfpeck with some usual sit-in guests, all eyes were on bass extraordinaire Joe Dart for his signature song “Beastly.” Lazy Lightning hooked us up with JoeDartCam during his epic performance.

Watch Dart go beast mode and melt faces with his mind-bending abilities on bass. I love how locked in he is and how his bandmates help fan the flame during his blistering solo. One of them even shouts out that Joe is “Bootsy Collins endorsed!”
