It’s October which means too things—playoff baseball and Tedeschi Trucks Band at the Beacon! TTB kicked off their annual run at the Beacon Theater in NYC last night. In all, Derek, Susan and the gang will be performing six shows over the next two weekends at the Beacon.

TTB carries on the legacy of the Allman Brothers Band and their annual Beacon run. When seeing a TTB show at the Beacon you are all but assured some ABB action. TTB didn’t disappoint last night.

At the end of the show, Susan welcomed Jimmy Herring up for a pair of ABB tunes that stretched over 30 minutes including “Blue Sky” and “Liz Reed.” In addition to the Aquarium Rescue Unit and Widespread Panic, Herring also has an ABB summer tour under his belt.
