New York City’s charity God’s Love We Deliver! held their very first all-star benefit concert last night and boy was it a doozy. The guess list included everyone from Uncle Warren (a.k.a. Warren Haynes) to Bruce Willis (yes, that Bruce Willis.)
God’s Love We Deliver! cooks and home-delivers more than 1.6 million meals annually to people living with sever illnesses.
Joe Walsh, Mavis Staples, Jackson Browne, Warren Haynes, Michael McDonald, Cyndi Lauper, Dr. John, Gary Clark Jr., Bruce Willis, Derek Trucks, Keb’ Mo’, Aaron Neville, Lisa Fischer, Marc Cohn, Anthony Hamilton, Cece Winans, Susan Tedeschi, William Bell, Amy Helm, Blind Boys of Alabama, Jackie Greene, Sam Moore, Catherine Russell, Joan Osborne, Tash Neal, Marcus King*, and more were among the dozens of artists featured at the benefit. Yea – this was a doozy!
Thanks to Sean Roche and sgibson818 for the footage!
