After sitting in with Phil Lesh and Friends for a benefit concert at the Backyard at Terrapin Crossroads, Bob made the 15 minute trek down the 101 to Sweetwater Music Hall. There he connected with the group of his own friends for a set that included some Dead tunes, originals from his newest album, covers and a Tom Petty tribute.

Earlier in the day, Weir teamed up with Phil Lesh for a cover of Tom Petty’s “Breakdown.” Later that night, Weir reprised “Breakdown.” His second take featured his signature howling vocals.

Weir also earned bonus points for wearing the STFU (shut the fuck up) shirt featuring himself.
