Watch Tedeschi Trucks Band Cover Neil Young’s “Helpless” in Boston

At the beginning of the month, Tedeschi Trucks Band set up shop at the Orpheum in Boston for their annual residency. The run produced many memorable moments, many captured and shared by YouTuber Less Than Face Productions.

The latest footage is from TTB’s show on December 4th—their finale in Beantown. Deep into the second set, Susan took the lead on a beautiful cover of Neil Young’s “Helpless.”

Tedeschi Trucks Band kicked off their annual run at The Orpheum Theater in Boston, MA earlier this week. The four show run kicked off at the historic Boston Venue on the 30th.

During their first night in Beantown, TTB treated fans to a cover of The Derek and the Dominoes’ classic “What Does Love Got To Be So Sad.”

Our next stop on the We Will Get By Streaming Tour brings us back to the summer of 76. The Grateful Dead continued their six night run at the Orpheum on this day in 1976 with their penultimate show of their run in San Francisco.

This show has many memorable moments, but the standout is the second set “Comes a Time.” The version ranks among the best the Dead have delivered over their 30 year tenure. The extended jam gives way to “Drums” and then the rumble of “The Other One.”

Tedeschi Trucks Band wrapped up their 2019 concert series with three nights at the Orpheum Theater in Boston.

On the final evening of the run, TTB treated Boston to a slew of covers and a mini acoustic set. Among the covers were a pair of covers including “Dreams” and “Whipping Post” to end the second set.
