This past weekend, many of our favorite venues that have been hard since COVID shut down the live music in March, came alive once again. A three day streaming festival dubbed Save Our Stages Festival, featured dozens of acts from across the US and raised over a million dollars to support ailing independent music venues. The festival featured huge names like the Foo Fighters, Dave Matthews, The Roots and many more.
On the final day, NOLA natives The Revivalists played a set at their “second home,” Tipitina’s. During their set, they covered a Beatles song with a little help from some friends (see what I did there?) including PJ Morton, “Tank” Ball (Tank and The Bangas), Ben Ellman (Galactic), and Stanton Moore (Galactic.)
Thanks to the Revivalists for the footage!
