Dead and Company hit Hartford, CT, the band’s closest show to Mayer’s hometown of Bridgeport. The show at the Xfinity Theatre also marked Dead and Company’s 100th show.
As we have seen and heard on this tour, Mayer can go to town on Pigpen songs. Last night show’s “Next Time You See Me,” “Don’t Ease Me In” and “Viola Lee Blues” were all examples of Mayer’s love of early Dead.
Thanks to Jamey Klein for sharing all the great footage from the Hartford show!
