The Grateful Dead are brewing up a new live video series titled All the Years Live on their official YouTube channel.
Here is what Dead archivist had to say about the series:
“We are going to start digging into the vault and releasing unreleased Grateful Dead concert videos pretty much song-by-song. These will be the good-quality, multi-camera video shoots that would have been on the screens at stadiums. So they’ll all be really good. We’re going to do proper transfers. They’ll look, they’ll sound great and they’ll be available here on the Grateful Dead’s official YouTube channel.”
High-quality, unreleased videos from Dead concerts mixed with SBD audio? YES PLEASE!
The first in the series is one of the best “Morning Dews” in Grateful Dead history. The Dead a run at the Winterland in 1974 that was billed as their “Farewell Concerts.” Luckily the hiatus only last a couple of years at the boys hit road again in ’76.
Thanks to Grateful Dead for this incredible new series!
