The Grateful Dead have returned to YouTube with another installment of All the Years Live. The latest footage comes from summer tour 1990 at Orchard Park.
Tucked into the first set during their stop at Rich Stadium that summer was a cover of the Stones’ “It’s All Over Now.” Here is what Grateful Dead archivist David Lemieux notes about the performance: “Joining the repertoire in September 1976, It’s All Over Now gave Bob Weir an additional first set rocker, courtesy of this classic Rolling Stones song. Like The Last Time, which joined the live song list in 1990, Bob really loved singing these early Stones songs.”
Thanks to the Grateful Dead for the footage!
