Their epic encore series continued with an absolutely outstanding “Cowgirl in the Sand” into “Rockin’ in the Free World” into “Machine Gun” back into “Rockin’ In the Free World.” This is why you never miss a Mule show folks.

The Neil Young classic “Cowgirl in the Sand” showcased Warren and Charlie Starr trading searing guitar solos. Without a pause in the action, the Mule launch into another Neil Young standard “Rockin’ in the Free World.” Halfway through the cover, the all the musicians go quiet except for Matt Abts who’s solitary drum beat serves as the foundation for Jimi Hendrix and the Band of Gypsys’ “Machine Gun.” Warren and Charlie again take center stage with their searing guitar solos. Warren brings back “Rockin’ in the Free World” with the lyric “We got a kinder, gentler,
Machine gun hand.” You see what he did there? 🎸🔥😎
