The weekly Swamp Family TV is back tonight with Tedeschi Trucks Band’s Red Rock Show from summer 2017. Back in 2017, the Wood Brothers and Hot Tuna joined TTB for their Wheels of Soul tour.

During the first of two nights at Red Rocks, TTB was joined by a few guests throughout the evening including Hot Tuna for the Jefferson Airplane cover “3/5 of a Mile in 10 Seconds.” The next guest out was keyboardist extraordinaire John Medeski for a few tunes. The Wood Brothers joined TTB for the “Let Me Roll It” encore.

Tedeschi Trucks Band rolled into Seattle earlier this week for a pair of shows at the Paramount Theater. During the second set, a local native hopped in on the drum kit.

Listen to Tedeschi Trucks Band Invade Germany – 4/5/2019 AUD

Road warriors Tedesci Trucks Band are plotting another massive year of touring in 2019. This April, TTB is out in Europe, supporting their new album Signs.

Last week, TTB made a stop in Salierhallte Winterbach, Germany. The stop in Germany wasn’t on the original tour announced last fall.

TTB jammed on plenty of originals, including tunes from their new album as well as plenty of covers.

Listen to Marcus King Sit In With Tedeschi Trucks Band in Augusta – 3/1/2019 AUD

Tedeschi Trucks Band winter tour came to an end last week. Before it ended, TTB played at The Bell Auditorium in Augusta, GA.

For the encore, Marcus King and members of his band joined Tedeschi Trucks Band for their encore. For the first encore tune, “Don’t Think Twice, It’s Alright” King swapped places with Derek Trucks. Trucks came back out for the second encore as well as Dean Mitchell on sax, DeShawn “D Vibes” Alexander on keys and Justin Johnson on trumpet. While “Don’t Think Twice, It’s Alright” was a beautiful ballad, “Show Me” was a barn burner.

Tedeschi Trucks Band finished up their second two-night run in as many weekends in D.C. TTB played four shows at the Warner Theater with a couple of shows in Hersey and Brooklyn sandwiched in between.

On the heels of releasing a new album and playing it nearly in it’s entirety, TTB played plenty of new and old tunes at Warner Theater last night. They also played a variety of covers including a 14-minute cover of the Allman Brothers Band tune “Dreams.”
