Despite only having a handful of gigs with Phish, Trey Anastasio has had a jam-packed year with solo acoustic shows, Trey Anastasio Band tours, the unbelievable Baker’s Dozen run at Madison Square Garden, festival sets and more.
With the Dick’s run behind him, Trey returned back to his band for some intermittent dates through out the fall. The first non-festival gig of the fall tour was in Portland, ME at Thompson’s Point. The concert venue is a beautiful place for a show that is right outside of downtown Portland, on the Fore River.
TAB didn’t show signs of any cobwebs and brought the fire on Saturday night. The high-energy show had 22 songs spanning two sets. TAB played originals, Phish tunes and the occasional cover including “Clint Eastwood” by the Gorillaz.
