Tedeschi Trucks Band, Drive-by Truckers and Marcus King Band rolled into Allman Brothers Band country during last night’s Wheels of Soul tour—the fabulous Fox Theater in Atlanta, GA.
As with all the performances during this Wheels of Soul tour, there was a healthy amount of sit-ins and collaborations through all three sets. Luckily D Fries recorded and shared all three sets!
The surprise guest of the night was Allman Brothers Band alum and Widespread Panic lead guitarist Jimmy Herring. Herring joined TTB for the last tune of their set, a face-melting 17-minute version of ABB’s “In Memory of Elizabeth Reed.”
