After a mind-blowing 100+ days on the road in 2016, Tedeschi Trucks Band has been relatively quiet to start 2017. That’s about to change, real quick.
Derek, Susan and the gang hit up The Warner Theatre last night for the first of a three-night run. All three gigs are unsurprisingly sold out. According to the event listing, Paul Barrere & Fred Tackett of Little Feat joined TTB for the evening.
TTB treated D.C. to a night of high-energy, soulful rock and blues. They did a variety of originals and some familiar covers like Ray Charles’ “Let’s Go Get Stoned.” “Angel > Sugaree” was on the setlist, but TTB didn’t get a chance to play it last night – fingers crossed they’ll be able to bust it out tonight!
