After what was one of the best Mule shows in recent history, Warren and the boys headed down to D.C. to continue their Come What May 2017 tour.
For the second night in a row, Mule honored the recently deceased grunge rock icon, Chris Cornell with a great cover of “Fell On Black Days.”
Ron Holloway was the guest of the evening and joined Mule on three tunes throughout the evening including “Doin’ It Do Death,” “Soulshine,” and “32/20 Blues.” Nothing like Ron playing his heart out on the sax during a Mule show—when are they going to make an offer for him to be a full time member of Gov’t Mule?
A few of the tunes off their upcoming album “Revolution Come…Revolution Go” were sprinkled throughout the two sets, including a “Dreams and Songs” encore. Warren also does right by Mule fans with plenty of teases tucked into some of the extended jams.
